Every couple is shot across formats — grainy 35mm, medium-format 120, clean digital, and moving Super 8 — so the gallery feels like memory, not just documentation.
I found a film camera in a thrift store during my freshman year of college and started carrying it everywhere. What began as a way to document friends, road trips, and everyday life eventually turned into something much more meaningful.
Film changed the way I see the world. It taught me to slow down, to be intentional, and to appreciate the beauty in ordinary moments. I've always believed that fewer, better things tend to matter more, and photography is no exception.
Growing up in Colorado shaped a lot of who I am. Time spent skiing, climbing, skating, and exploring the outdoors gave me a deep appreciation for both adventure and simplicity. Today, that same perspective influences the way I photograph—honest moments, beautiful places, and the stories that unfold naturally between them.

This isn't about a photo session, or even the pictures — it's about you. Forget posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. Imagine going on a walk with an old friend who just happens to have a camera. My process is free and flowy, and my only goal is to capture your true self.
A quick message is all it takes — tell me who you are and what you're dreaming up, and I'll get right back to you.
Mood, movement, location, light — we map out the whole day together until it feels yours.
When the day comes we follow the feeling, stay in the moment, and make something real — no stiff posing required.
A week or two later your gallery arrives — your story, in all its natural glory, ready to be revisited for years to come.
Every service I offer, with its flat rate — what you see is what you pay. Weddings on film, digital and Super 8, plus proposals, couples, branding and graduation.

Super 8 is real motion film — most couples add it to their wedding day, though it can be booked on its own. And while weddings are my focus, I'm glad to take on select non-wedding work too: proposals, couples & family, branding, and graduation, priced by session length and number of images.

Every wedding package is flexible — the film mix is a starting point, and we'll tailor the rolls to you (a 35mm roll yields ~36 photos, a 120mm wide-format roll ~15). Prices cover the work itself; travel (flight & stay) is added for locations outside Southern California. No hidden fees — every price above is a flat rate.

“Working with Chris was super fun! He was able to squeeze me in a few days before graduation. He's got ideas for shots and great locations in the greater Phoenix area. My girlfriend and I are gonna do a couple shoot with him soon! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.”

“Chris was so awesome during our shoot! We had so much fun shooting with him and loved seeing his creative ideas come to life. Our photos were exactly what we wanted and more!”

“I was not expecting Chris to be there when my fiancé proposed to me, but the photos he took are pure magic. Every time I look back at them I remember every emotion I was feeling. He did such a beautiful job! I am forever grateful that he was there to capture such a huge moment in our lives!”

Tell me about your day — the date, the place, the vibe. I'll get back to you with availability and the details. Let's explore one day of your life and turn it into timeless mementos.
